Concrete Panels

Lightweight concrete wall panels are thin, durable cladding panels designed to bring the authentic look of concrete without the heavy weight. FLOAT panels measure only 13 mm thick and weighs 13.6 kg/m², making them easier to install while maintaining strength. They are widely used for wall cladding in residential homes, luxury apartments, hotels and commercial buildings as a superior alternative to plasterboard or fibre cement.

  • 6× more insulating than standard concrete (R-value 0.110 m²·K/W)
  • Fireproof ― completely non-combustible
  • Waterproof and UV-stable for exterior and coastal projects
  • Acoustically absorptive for quieter interiors
  • Silica-free for safer installation
  • Concrete walls
  • Brickwork
  • Plastered/rendered surfaces
  • Timber frames or OSB
  • Steel
  • Gypsum board or drywall
  • Cement board
  • ICF's (HD Foam)

Yes, completely non-combustible ― they will not ignite, spread flames or emit toxic smoke

Yes. Each panel combines a dense UHPC matrix with a penetrating polymer hybrid sealer, making them waterproof, fade-resistant and suitable for bathrooms, exterior façades and coastal projects

  • 1200×600 mm (47.24"×23.62")
  • 1300×530 mm (51.18"×20.86")
  • 1000×500 mm (39.37"×19.68")
  • 900×900 mm (35.43"×35.43")
  • 1300×800 mm (51.18"×31.50")

13.6 kg/m² or 2.8 lb/ft²

All panels are 13 mm thick (0.5") offering a slim profile without compromising strength

With compressive strengths of 45–55 MPa and flexural strength of 17–21 MPa, our panels outperform fibre cement and plasterboard. They resist impact, bending and vibration without cracking

FLOAT panels use 32% less embodied CO₂, integrate recycled aggregates, and are produced with closed-loop water systems. Their long life cycle also means fewer replacements compared to cheaper alternatives. Lightweight transport further cuts emissions. Lean batching ensures minimal excess, any remaining material is used to cast our Test samples — reducing waste to virtually zero. We are currently shifting our production to solar energy, ensuring that every FLOAT panel is made with a lighter environmental impact.

  • Finishes: Natural (organic pitting/texture) or Smooth (refined, minimal)
  • Through-body iron oxide pigments in natural greys and earthy shades carefully curated for our standard colours. Custom colors available on request. Please contact us.

Panels use UV-stable oxides to resist fading; they develop a natural patina over time.

Innovation

Yes. The anchor holes not only give FLOAT panels their signature look, but they are also designed to function as a mechanical fixing point. This provides an economical, fast and secure way to mount panels onto various substrates. For alternative fixing methods, see our installation guide.

Engineered with a unique concrete mix design, FLOAT panels achieve thermal insulation up to 6× greater than conventional concrete. Their low conductivity (0.118 W/m·K) reduces heat flow through walls, improving energy efficiency and year-round comfort in residential and commercial interiors. Unlike traditional concrete, our panels stay close to room temperature and feel almost neutral to the touch.

Yes. Their lightweight UHPC matrix reduces sound reflection and reverberation, while textured finishes scatter soundwaves better for improved clarity.

They withstand rain, humidity, frost, UV and salt exposure—ideal for exterior façades in all climates.

Yes. FLOAT concrete wall panels are engineered with a dense, high-performance mix that resists salt, moisture, and corrosion. A polymer sealer that penetrates deep into the surface is applied for protection. This makes them well-suited for coastal environments where salt exposure is common, ensuring durability for homes, apartments and commercial buildings near the ocean.

FLOAT lightweight concrete panels perform exceptionally in high-temperature climates. Their innovative mix design keeps interiors cooler by limiting heat absorption, making them a reliable cladding solution for desert environments in the U.S. Southwest and the Middle East.

Installation

  • High-tack polymer adhesive ― Fast, economical and strong bonding.
  • Mechanical fixing rear brackets/split battens ― Concealed, removable option.
  • Anchor hole fixing ― Screws with caps, ideal for service areas and exteriors.
  • Spring retainer clip system ― Secure, flexible fixing designed for quick installation.
  • Rivet fixing on frame ― Visible and secure attachment method for framed substructures.
  • Ignoring manufacturer specifications ― Not following adhesive recommendations.
  • Mishandling panels ― Face scratching or dragging which can cause damage to the sealer.
  • Not preparing substrates ― Failing to remove dust, debris or moisture before applying adhesive.
  • Skipping pull-off tests ― ALWAYS perform a pull-off test until satisfied.
  • Using the wrong adhesive/sealant ― DO NOT use any cementitious glues, grouts or slurries.
  • Incorrect mechanical fixing ― Over-tightening, under-spacing or using the wrong anchor system.

FLOAT panels should be cut using a quality non-serrated diamond blade on either a circular saw or a hand grinder. This ensures clean, accurate cuts without chipping the panel edges. Always cut slowly and use proper dust control measures for safety.

Clean the panel joints, apply a polyurethane sealer and smooth away excess for neat finish. This ensures watertight protection while also acting as an adhesive that bonds panel edges, giving ultimate adhesion and secure installation.

Yes. Panels can be applied directly to drywall or plasterboard, provided the substrate is stable and primed.

Small interiors and adhesive applications are DIY-friendly. For façades and larger installs, professional fitting ensures long-term performance.

3D WALL TILES

3D wall tiles create unique fascinating feature walls with depth and shadow play. They are popular in contemporary homes, restaurants and commercial spaces.

Yes. 3D concrete wall tiles are sealed front and back, making them waterproof and suitable for bathrooms and kitchens. Because the system is grout-free, installation requires a waterproof, properly prepared substrate to ensure long-lasting performance.

Absolutely. Our 3D concrete tiles are fully sealed front and back, giving them excellent waterproof protection for outdoor use. Because the system is grout-free, installation requires a waterproof, well-prepared substrate to prevent moisture penetration and long-term performance.

Yes. 3D wall tiles improve acoustics by scattering sound waves across their angled and curved surfaces. This reduces echo and reverberation, creating a softer and more comfortable sound environment in open interiors.

3D Installation

Tiles are mounted with high-tack polymer adhesives on prepared substrates. Please see our installation guide for more detail. Pro tip: On larger walls use a laser-level for best results.

FLOAT 3D tiles should be cut with a non-serrated diamond blade on a hand grinder. Cutting slowly with proper dust control ensures clean, accurate edges without chipping.

Grouting is not required for 3D wall tiles. The tiles are installed tightly with small spacing to maintain the clean, visual effect. Because FLOAT tiles are sealed on both sides, they are protected, but the substrate must be waterproof to prevent moisture issues.

Yes. 3D wall tiles can be DIY-installed for small walls, but professional installers are recommended for large feature walls. They ensure precise spacing, alignment and a waterproof substrate preparation, delivering the best long-term results.
